Will my child be able to work for Google, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, or Facebook after this course?

No, we don't indulge in such type of cheap marketing and sales tactics. If it is so, then 12 years of schooling and the 4 years of college would have become obsolete. There is no short cut in life until parents start believing in such a sales pitch. The learning objective is to make your child a problem solver, create analytical thinking, and strengthen their academic foundation. You will see a gradual improvement in their understanding of basics and advanced concepts. The purpose is to redefine their attitude towards applied learning. Long term objective of the course is to boost their creativity and help them excel in their academic and career.

Why can’t you send our children to Silicon Valley when other institutions can do so?

We can’t misguide you because this is against our guiding principles. We are not in the market for short term gains through misleading information. It is equivalent to saying that if you study middle or high school physics or Chemistry from here, then it is almost a surety to send you to Sweden to collect the Noble prize. It may sound funny and ridiculous, but many innocent parents are getting misled these days by the sales team who are selling education. It takes time, effort, perseverance to accomplish realistic dreams at an appropriate age.

Is a trip to Silicon Valley’s Google location or NASA necessary to learn CS?

Silicon Valley or San Francisco has developed into a technology-based entrepreneur hub with start-ups and headquarters of many famous companies. We don’t see how a trip to Silicon Valley can enhance the children learning of computer science. The logic is beyond our comprehension. An education company promoting a Silicon Valley trip might be playing with your phycology. It is marketing propaganda to fool parents. You can visit the Google campus in Silicon Valley because this is open to all visitors coming to San Francisco. Google does not have an official tie-up with us or any other education company like ours. If you reside in India, you may consider a personal visit to their campus in Bangalore or Hyderabad to encourage and have a family trip. Infrastructure may be different, but programming and coding are the same at Google campus in India or Silicon Valley as well as any other small IT company elsewhere.

I am very ambitious and want my child to work in Silicon Valley and earn six figure salary, can 01 school help?

Unfortunately, we may not be able to help. If this is so, my 5th grader child would be working at Google. A healthy mind and body need a balance of education and sports. I teach my child math and computer science with other subjects and let him enjoy sports and other physical activities. Emphasizing the importance of education and ensuring proper education is good. But, we do not encourage unrealistic and impractical expectations that could increase unnecessary pressure on a child's mental health. It is just stealing childhood away. Be mindful and stay away from people and companies who suggest so.

Will my child be left behind in this race to success if I don’t enroll him for such education?

No. Your child will not be at any loss. Success is a relative term depending on your perspective and definition. It is supplemental and informal learning to prepare your child to do better in his/her academics, help the child prepare for good grades at school and college, and build interest in science and technology. Nevertheless, this does not mean that kids who do not have access to such learning will not be able to achieve their dreams.

I don’t see a lot of advertisement of 01schools?

Most of our customers come through word of mouth and referrals because of our uncompromised quality in teaching. Companies spending money on advertisements is your money. They make money from the customer's and spend it on exaggerated advertisements making false marketing claims to get more business. They spent less on the product or service that could have added value to the customer. Customers get a compromised return in education that is not equivalent to the money paid by the customer because a disproportionate amount is spent on advertisements to gain more customers rather than hiring the best teachers and paying them well. Instead, we use this money to pay well and hire the best teachers for our students. We believe in quality service rather than using buzz words in advertisements. Is it true that some children can earn crores of rupees at Google after completing these CS courses?

NO. It is equivalent to saying if my child can perform heart transplant surgery after learning high school Biology. If a company advertises so then our advice is to stay away from such companies. If you want your child to become a great heart surgeon, then good coaching will certainly help the child to generate interest and score well, get into a medical college, and hopefully become a surgeon. There is no short-cut to hard work, and this is a harsh reality. We believe in quality service rather than using buzz words in advertisements.
